GOLDEN
ANNIVERSARY!!
Leon & Barbara Jenkins, better known as "Grandpa and Grandma,"
celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on August 6, 1995.
(They were married in August, 1945, in the
Salt Lake
Temple.)
They enjoyed celebrating this special day with their family and
friends at the Embassy Suites, as this was the wedding reception they
never had. Later at their home, a surprise wedding cake was brought
in by their neightbors, and they were also presented with a Memory
Book about all their special friends.
They have five children, nine grandchildren, and four
step-grandchildren. Still at home is Kelly, their toy poodle, who now
gets all of their attention all to himself!
